Founded in 1904, Beechwood Bowls Club has a long and renown history.

Situated in Beechwood Park, on the Eastern side of the City of Newport, Beechwood Bowls Club is proud of its commitment to the game of Lawn Green Bowls.

We have very active Gents and Ladies teams, made up of people of all ages and abilities, from teenagers to over 100.  We are well represented in all the Gents and Ladies Leagues in WBA, MBA, NBA and GBL.  We also have an over 60s team.

There are numerous social events in the year as well, which are very popular with members and their families.

We have many well qualified coaches in both the Gents and Ladies teams, who are more than happy to assist and advise you.  You will not be pressured at any time.

New members are very welcome, with a full coaching programme in place, members can soon learn the game of Bowls. Club day is Monday, with Ladies at 2pm and Gents at 5pm, so why not come and try.  You’ll probably love it!
